Read this imagined interview from a school magazine.

Reporter: Why did you start the school choir, Ms Arın?
Ms Arın: A survey at our school showed that nearly half of the students never sang outside music lessons. I wanted to change that.
Reporter: Is there an audition?
Ms Arın: No. A voice can be trained, but enthusiasm can’t. Anyone who wants to sing is welcome.
Reporter: What has been the hardest part?
Ms Arın: Keeping the members. In our first year, 40 students joined, but only 22 stayed until June. So we started letting members choose half of the songs. Last year, 40 students joined again, and 38 of them stayed. I’m sure that having a say in the songs made the difference.
